Accidents

Always heard of car accidents and so on, seen some happen but never was i involved in one until today, though it was minor just because of some strange kind of miracle i think.......the timing was really helpful cos we missed our way, if we had gone the correct way it would have been a disaster.
Going up an overhead bridge and all of a sudden the steering wheel wont control the car despite the fact it was moving.......the brakes wont come on and the car swerved to the left continuously till it hit the culvert and came to an abrupt stop.
Talking of timing, if the car had travelled 5 metres more before the steering and brake failed my friends and i would have been seriously injured cos the car would most definitely hit the walls of the bridge which would have resulted to big damage to the left side of the car, or if the car swerved to the right same thing would have happened.
God really saved the day making everything happen at the right time and at the right place.

The Nigerian Nightmare/Oleg

After an interesting six rounds in which Samuel Peter demonstrated focus and resolve, things exploded in the sixth and Peter ended matters decisively with a number of concussive shots to The Big O’s head driving him into a corner forcing him into a corner and forcing a halt to matters at the 2.56 mark. Oleg seemed a bit ponderous during the fight, though he did land some good shots which Peter took well and always seemed to counter with his own equally heavy thunder. All in all, a great win for “The Nightmare” which puts him in a spot to call out Klitschko.
Wow i am so proud to be Nigerian.

Trust called to order

Ever being stabbed by someone you have some trust for, always heard of this scenario never knew it could be so painful. Had this guy I met with my friends on a night out, surprised he was Yoruba a conversation ensued and that was it, a sort of friendship was
Fostered. Since he was much our senior we took him as an elder brother and he came around our apartment ate what he wanted when he wanted, used my friends computer when he wanted, slept on our beds and we slept on the floor, we made so much sacrifices for him and he turned out eventually to be a monster.
When he was to go back to Nigeria he came around my apartment to collect this new addidas sneaker I just got and my friend’s digital camera claiming he was going to the club that night and needed to appear in something new. That was the last I saw him only to hear he’s back in Nigeria for good, he took someone else’s passport and flight ticket, money and was almost escaping with a brand new laptop computer .
He never explained MEANESS & PRETENCE better. With a friend like this who needs enemies.
I wish him luck………………go on stealing

All hail the Pharoahs of Egypt

Wow, the nations cup finally came to an end with the Egyptians taking the title back to back for a record second time ever, what a great feat a record for both country and coach.
With Ghana also having the better of Ivory Coast, i must confess, that match really sucked i actually tipped IV for a win but they got me thinking.
Need i say more? Congratulations to the defending champions and champions of 2008.

Nigeria/Benin

Wow at last Nigeria got it's first victory of the tournament and is moving on to the quarter finals, i cant but say thanks to Ivory Coast for the huge favour it did Nigeria by dealing with Mali.
I hope we would fare better against the hosts Ghana in the quarter-finals, would be expecting a hell of a game though. Up Nigeria.
